Safety first - the protection of people and the environment, but also the protection of valuable chemicals have always been the focus of AS’s thoughts and actions. From its beginnings in 1987 as a manufacturer of high-tech pumps for drum emptying, AS has developed into a leading global specialist for safe dispensing and filling systems, with business partners in high-tech industries such as the semiconductor, pharmaceutical, chemical and solar industries. Many well-known large companies, such as BASF, Bosch, Merck, Brenntag or Infineon, but also numerous medium-sized companies trust today in the innovative products and services of the German inventors from Ostfildern near Stuttgart. In America and Asia, foreign subsidiaries ensure proximity to customers and an export share of over 60 percent.
A dedicated team of around 100 employees is constantly developing the portfolio at the family-owned company, which now includes smart IoT solutions for sustainable chemical handling as well as robotic systems for fully automated filling and emptying of containers. For chemical plant engineering, AS offers various fittings, valves and hoses made of high-performance plastics - often also as custom-made products, which are realized with in-house injection molding and CNC machines.
